No two women are the same. Renew integrates varying aspects of multiple disciplines to create a unique synthesis for each Client. Techniques are drawn from, and may incorporate aspects of:

  • Guided Inspiration

Our most basic rhythm is the rhythm of our breath, of taking in energy and expelling impurities which weigh us down. This discipline seeks to synchronize the mind with the body, draw upon and strengthen the connection to create an elevated focus which loosens personally imposed gravity. By becoming aware of the flow of life into and out of our core, we restore our connection with our deeper rhythms and the underlying vitality of our miraculous physiology.

  • Acupressure

is an ancient healing art that's based on the traditional Chinese medicine practice of acupuncture. With acupressure, you put pressure on specific places on your body. These places are called acupoints. Pressing these points can help release muscle tension and promote blood circulation.

  • Reiki

Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly referred to as energy healing. It emerged in Japan in the late 1800’s and is said to involve the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms to their patient.

Energy healing has been used for centuries in various forms. Advocates say it works with the energy fields around the body.

  • Synovial Massage

Joint & Membrane Concentration- Joint spaces are surrounded by a thick flexible membrane forming a sac into which is secreted a viscous fluid that lubricates the joint. Motion and varying pressure and tension on the joint promotes synovial fluid production and improves cartilage blood supply.

  • Thai Massage

Thai Massage has been around for over 2,500 years.

Thai massage includes influences from both Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine. Unlike typical Western-type massages, it doesn’t have to involve lying on a massage table, and incorporates stretching, pulling, and rocking techniques to relieve tension, promote relaxation, and improve flexibility and circulation. Thai massage is focused on improving the flow of energy throughout your body.

  • Craniosacral Massage

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on technique that uses a light touch to examine membranes and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system. Relieving tension in the central nervous system is thought to promote a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity.

  • Trigger Point Massage

Trigger point massage is designed to relieve pain in particular areas of the body by applying pressure or vibration into myofascial trigger points. Trigger points are points in the muscles where knots may form, and the pinpointed pressure is designed to relax those knots and ease pain.

  • Aromatherapy

Our most basic sense, the one most directly connected to our feelings and emotions, is that of olfaction. The aromas and odors enveloping us shape our mood at a fundamental level, putting us on alert or coaxing us to relax. Identification and utilization of olfactory re-referencing provides a framework for promotion of vagal smooth muscle relaxation, synergistically enhancing the efficacy of tissue manipulation.

  • Melodic Decorporealization

Every body has its own intrinsic rhythms. Every living being vibrates with resonant cycles, from our pulse to our breath to our moods to our moons. We are tuned to reverberate to certain songs, certain melodies, certain cadences, certain pulsations. Music moves us, soothes us, massages our humors and elevates us into harmony. Exploring and finding the beats that bring out our natural vivre gets us out of our heads and into our bodies, brings out the celestial and the fantastic. It is an energy that liberates our own, freeing us from the constraints of flesh and friction. Bring the music that frees you and moves your body of its own accord. Music that takes you to another place, another time, maybe even another world, that lifts you to freedom from fatigue and burden. Music that uplifts you, that transports you, that Renews you.

  • Dissociative Reformulation

The most potent muscle relaxant of all is our own mind. Dissociation is a means of directing focus in such a way as to produce tangible effects. When the mind is harnessed to control our internal environment, we are liberated from the established rules and limitations. The exploration of not just what is usual, but what is possible, and even what is impossible, allows us freedom from the constant weight of expectation and judgment, the constraints of our own envelope.
